TERMS OF USE

Using Canopy Quote.

These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the Canopy Quote mobile app, website and related services ("Canopy"). By creating an account or using Canopy, you agree to these terms.

1. What Canopy does

Canopy is a workflow tool for trade and service businesses. It can help you capture site information, organise customer and job records, prepare quotes and paperwork, and manage related workflow such as job and crew briefs, invoices, job sheets, follow-ups and, where a job requires them, safety documents such as RAMS or method statements.

Some features use AI to organise information or prepare drafts. Canopy is an assistance tool, not a substitute for professional judgement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure, for activity carried out through your account, and for making sure information you provide is accurate enough for your business use. Do not share authentication credentials or use another person's account without permission.

If you become aware of unauthorised access or a security problem, contact Canopy Support through the app as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Your business and customer information

You retain responsibility for the information, photographs, recordings, branding and other material you enter or upload to Canopy. You give Canopy the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, back up and transmit that material so we can provide the features you choose to use.

You must have the rights and lawful authority needed to upload or process information about customers, workers, sites or other people. Do not use Canopy to store unlawful content or material that infringes another person's rights.

4. AI-assisted output and professional review

AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular job. You must review and, where necessary, correct output before relying on it or sharing it.

You remain responsible for job scope, measurements, prices, tax treatment, safety decisions, any RAMS or other safety documents required for the job, legal/regulatory compliance, customer communications and work carried out by you or your team. Canopy does not certify that a generated or prepared document is legally, technically or professionally sufficient for a particular job.

5. Free and Pro features

Canopy may offer free features and paid Canopy Pro features. Features, limits and availability may change as the service develops. Where a paid feature is offered through a mobile app store, the price, billing period and purchase terms displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play at the point of purchase apply.

Any website price shown before the store product is live is indicative launch pricing only. Store-localised pricing may differ.

6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Canopy Pro subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the relevant store. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the store terms shown at purchase.

You can use Canopy's account/plan controls to restore eligible purchases or open subscription management where supported. Deleting your Canopy account does not by itself cancel store billing. Cancel renewal through the applicable store before deleting the account if a subscription is still set to renew.

Refund eligibility for store purchases is governed by the applicable store's rules and legal rights that cannot be excluded.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Canopy reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Features may depend on internet connectivity, third-party services, device permissions, app-store services or AI providers.

We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical or product reasons. Where a material change affects paid users, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

9. Backups, exports and business continuity

Canopy includes cloud sync and export capabilities, but you remain responsible for maintaining records and backups appropriate to your business, legal and tax obligations. Do not make Canopy your only copy of information that you are legally required to retain.

10. Intellectual property

Canopy, its software, branding, design and service content are owned by or licensed to the operator of Canopy Quote. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may use the service only for its intended business purpose and in accordance with these terms.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer or other mandatory law.

Subject to those rights, Canopy is provided as a business productivity tool. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to review AI-assisted or prepared output, incorrect job information you enter, decisions made about site safety or professional work, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

12. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate suspected abuse or address a serious breach of these terms. You can stop using Canopy at any time and, where available, delete your account from the app.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Canopy handles personal information.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Canopy develops. We will change the date above and, where appropriate, give additional notice of material changes.

15. Contact

For support, account or billing questions, signed-in users should use Settings → Canopy Support. General support information is available on the Canopy Support page.

Release note: These terms reflect the current Canopy launch implementation. They should receive final legal/operator-details review before public store submission.
